She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Dufresne and Margaret Dufresne; her siblings, Lela Woods (Ernest), Floyd Dufresne (Francis) and Robert Dufresne; and her brother-in-law Thomas Woods.

She is survived by: her friend William Howe; her husband Bill; her children, Roberta-Lynn Welsh (Lloyd) of Chelmsford, Margaret Howe of Prescott, William Jr. Howe (Donna) of New Liskeard, Matthew Howe (Kathy) of Elk Lake and Brenda Culp (Bruce) of Haileybury; her grandchildren, Terry Welsh (Jana) of Hafford, Christopher Welsh (Melissa) of Chelmsford, Jeffrey Howe of Prescott, Lindsay Maclean (Clayton) of Markstay and Robert Howe (Amanda) of Englehart; her great grandchildren, Kalista, Kole, Kamron Welsh of Hafford, Carter Welsh of Chelmsford, Jake Maclean and Wyatt Maclean of Markstay; her sister Claudette Woods; her sister-in-law Della Dufresne; her siblings, Lewis Dufresne (Terena) and Brenda Manners (Mervin); and also Christine Stetsko (Ernie). She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
