He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Polite; his parents, Kenneth Polite and Reta Polite; and his brother Peter Polite. He is survived by: his children, Rick Polite (Diane Chevalier), Ross Polite (Tramonica Rodgers-Polite), Teresa Polite (Brian Dean) and Colleen Kelso; his grandchildren, Lauren Catalli (Jason), Taylor Polite, Thomas Polite (Taylor), Jordon Polite (Emma), Jayden Polite and Brendan Dean; and his great grandchildren, Blair, Isla, Asher and Brooks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
