He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Lingard and Irene Lingard. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lingard; his children, Lori Jones (Gerry) of Brampton and Todd Helmer (Becky) of Spencerville; his brother Martin Lingard (Rose) of Welland; and his grandchildren, Tristen, Ross, Kolten and Sophia. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
