She was predeceased by: her husband Murray William Hughes; her granddaughter Michele; and her siblings, Dorothy Neely (late Gord), John Vester (Lois), Leonard Vester (Dolores Vester), Eric Vester (Isabelle), Lloyd Vester (Barb) and Sammy.
She is survived by: her children, Evan (Donna Brown) of Powassan, David (Laura) of Barrie, Kevin (Tammy) of Powassan, Terry (Shirley) of Powassan, Barry (Audrey) of Keswick and Larry (Doris) of Powassan; and her brother Bill Vester (Jane) of Rutherglen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
