He was predeceased by: his parents, Campbell McKean and Evelyn McKean (Lynn). He is survived by: his son Kyle; his daughter-in-law Marissa; his granddaughters, Maggie and Sophie; his brother Kenneth (Kelly); and his nephew Ryan (Andrea). He is also survived by two grand nephews and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Stuart's memory to Hospice Muskoka.
