He is survived by: his wife Diane Swinton (Terpstra); his stepchildren, Bryanna (Shane) and Jonathan; his grandchildren, Bryn and Sawyer; and his siblings, Lizbeth (Stewart) and John (Kathleen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
