He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel Jackson (Roth); his son Brad Jackson (Michelle); his siblings, Shirley Armstrong (Richard) and Mack Jackson (Eleanor); and his parents, John Munro and Helen Elizabeth Jackson (Lethbridge).

He is survived by: his sons, John Jackson (Anne) and Clint Jackson (Connie); his grandchildren, John, Allison, Jodi and Jaelynn; and his close friend Simon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
