He was predeceased by: his parents, Brenda Cook and Harold Cook. He is survived by: his close friend Marty Winegarden; his son Richard Cook; his granddaughters, Megan and Sarah; his brother Peter Cook (Linda Stinson); his niece Katelin; his great-niece Milly; and his stepchildren, Landi Lynch-Groenendyk (Jeremy), Lincoln Lynch, Bill Akerfeldt and Tracey Heffern. He is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren.
