She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oliver and Ruth Oliver; her husband John Henry "Harry" Nixon; her sister Patricia Phin; and her niece Heather Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia, John (Heather), Peter (Lisa) and Patrick; her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Derek), Kevin, Jessica, Matthew, Laura, Sophie and Isla; and her great grandchildren, Lauren and Claire.
