He was predeceased by: his sibling Edna Beckett (late John); and also Camie Samells. He is survived by: his spouse Marilyn Wallace; his children, Linda Wescott (Larry) and Bill Samells (Connie); his grandchildren, Tyler, Brittney, Jake, Samantha and Abby; and his sibling Helen Hope (late Roger).

In memory of George, donations may be made to the Port Perry United Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association .
