She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bob Colwell; her children, Adrienne (Ric Faber) of Prince Albert, Joe (Melanie) of Blackstock and Lindsay (Michael House) of New Zealand; her grandchildren, Evelyn, Hannah, Brantley, Darcy and Eloise; and her sisters, Mary Jane and Emily (David Milgram) of Peterborough. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews and friends.
