He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Richard and Eugenie Richard of Rogersville, NB; his siblings, Patrick (Zelia), Placide (Rita), Marcel (Bella), Nora (Yvon Leger), Melanie (Leo LeBlanc), Aurore (Yvon Richard) and Alice (Emery Boucher); and his brothers-in-law, John Doucette (Jeannine) and Abel Doucette (Noella).
He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Rob, Lynn (Mark Derrick) and Rachel (Steve Neale); his grandsons, Davis and Everett Neale; his siblings, Jerry (late Jean) and Rosalie (late Alvin Aube); and his siblings-in-law, Frances (late Emile), Bernadette (late Fidele), Patricia (late Emile Goguen), Stella (late Medric Thibodeau), Melanie (late Zoel Maillet), Cecile (Guillaume Despres), Georges Doucette (Odile), Ernestine (late Donald Gaudet), Normand Doucette (Giselle), Bernard Doucette (Jeannita) and Majella (Gilles Caissie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wagg Funeral Home, "mcDermott-Panabaker Chapel" (216 Queen St, Port Perry, ON L9L1B9). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society through the Wagg Funeral Home.
