He was predeceased by: his wife Mae; his daughter Donna McCurdy; and his siblings, June Berryl and Denis. He is survived by: his children, Brian Dyke (Silk), Debbie Skinner-Marquis (David) and Eric Dyke; his grandchildren, Nicole Soper, Deneve Hebert, Jessica Gibson, Alex Dyke, Cynthia Dyke and Joel McCurdy; his great grandchildren, Kris Bartley, Nicolas Gibson and James Gibson; and his brothers, Louis and Horace.
A celebration of his life open to the public will be held once COVID-19 restrictions have lifted.
