He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his children, Bernie Dowdall and Jim Dowdall. He is survived by: his children, Sheila (Mark Rodrigue) of Etobicoke, Anne (late Rick Galpin) of Irricana, Kathleen Dowdall of Waterdown, Michael Dowdall (Lynn Singer) of Toronto and Maureen (Gerry Hall) of Newmarket; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Talon (Keith Ober), Kieran, Kyle, Siobhan, Liam and Bronwyn; and his great grandchild Merissa. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Port Perry Food Bank (Operation Scugog).
