With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Hoey (Port Perry, Ontario), who passed away on December 7, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bet (Walt Kahler), Shelia (Al Rayner), Marilyn (Bill Fewson), Pete Hoey (Betty) and Bert Hoey (Norma).
He is survived by: his spouse Lynn of Port Perry; his children, Jeffrey Hoey (Cathy) of Whitby and Andrea (Darryl Marshall) of Sudbury; his grandchildren, Derek, Steven, Katelyn and Cameron; and his sibling Jean (Bill Hunt) of Kitchener. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family of John Hoey will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Alzheimer's Society or the Charity of your Choice.
