He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Cuddie and Veronica Tapp. He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his grandson Zakari; and his siblings, Marilynn (John Van Bridger), Gail (Berk Parker) and Ron Cuddie (Carol). He is also survived by his extended family, dear friends.

Earl was named the citizen of the year in Lakefield in 1980 for his contributions to that community.
