He was predeceased by: his sister Jean Ashcroft; his parents, Charles and Edith; and his nephew Mark. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Marc (Crystal) and Peter; his grandchildren, Spencer and Victoria; and his siblings-in-law, Gail (Martin), Joanne (Vaughn) and Valia (Jamie). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
