It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernardus Lamers in Port Perry, Ontario, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Mia (Maria); his grandchild Mikey Nammour; and his siblings, Henk (Anna), John (late Mia) and Herb (late Nell).

He is survived by: the father of his child Michael (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Alison (Justin Blanchet) and Benjamin Lamers; his siblings, Tony (Jackie), Martin (Marian), Thea (late Lambert), Corrie (Adrian), Betsy (Omer), Annie (Lawrence), Nelly Lamers and Walter Lamers; and his wife Doleweerd. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews as well as the extended family.

Donations will be gratefully accepted at the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region in Ben's name.
