He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Ilene Bergen (Karl), Brian (Cheryl), Ivan (Brenda), Anita (John), Norman (Nadia) and Ralph DeJong; his stepchildren, Ruth Sibma (Walter), Anna Keaney (Jim), Walter Sibma and Peter Sibma (Hilda); and his siblings, Bob DeJong (Evelyn) of Grand Cayman and Detje Jansen (Jan). He was also cherished by his 10 great grandchildren.
