He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Francis Burns and Jean Barbara Burns. He is survived by: his siblings, Frank (Jan), Barbara (late Peter) and Neil (Michelle); his niece Jennifer (Ron); and his nephews, Jack and Luke.
