He is survived by: his wife Ellen Atkins (Hay); his sons, Gavin Atkins (Stacey), Tyler Atkins (Bria) and Ian Atkins (Claire); his grandchildren, Hayden, Jed, Navy, Ella and Emmy; and his siblings, Dave Atkins (Bunny), Janice Miller (Steve), Patricia Atkins (Rick), Bruce Atkins (Rose), Wayne Atkins (Kelly), Mary Kay Bechard (Chris), Jim Hay (Anne), Tim Hay (Cyndi) and Mark Hay (Marianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
