It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Theresa Atkins of Port Lambton, Ontario, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Gallerno and Mary Helen Gallerno (Countryman); her spouse Gord Atkins; her son Daniel; her siblings, Etta, James "Bud", Charles "Chuck", John and Gerald "Jiggs"; and her brother-in-law Fraser.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Atkins (Ellen), David Atkins (Bunny), Janice Miller (Steve), Patti Atkins (Rick), Bruce Atkins (Rose), Wayne Atkins (Kelly) and Mary Kay Johnston (Chris); and her siblings, Donna Nantais, Harold Gallerno and Leonard Atkins (Jeannette). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
