He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Jean Davis; his parents, Gordon Towes and Dorothy Towes; his brother Jack Towes; and his siblings-in-law, Bev Davis and Laura Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Beatty (Judi), Cathy Dey (Cliff), Brenda Deroches and Mike Beatty; his daughter-in-law Janet Lagrois; his grandchildren, Jacob Beatty (Catherine), Jordan Beatty (Susie), Derek Dey (Katie), Sarah Dey (Liam), Samantha, Matthew Beatty, Jennifer, Jamie Campbell and Benjamin Deroches; his great grandchild River Beatty; his siblings, Sandy (late Sharon), Marlean Chambers (Glen) and Joeanne Towes; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd, Glenda Davis, Carol Clarke (late Bruce), Dorothy, Bob Sexsmith, Donnie, Debbie Davis and Sybol Davis (late Maurice). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
