He is survived by: his parents, Sjang Matte and Anna Marie Matte; his siblings, Eric (Marnie), Greg Derkx, Sarah Gibson (Luke) and Liz Cressey (Jordan Abrams); his nieces and nephews, Kyler, Chelsey, Tyson, Parker and Connor; and his friends, Diane Nietvelt, Tammy Bemma, Donny Slade and Mike "Hoss" Smith.
