With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Yvonne Hunter (Port Hope, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Yvonne Hunter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband George Edward Hunter (Ed); her parents, Lorena McCosh and Urquhart McCosh; and her brother Reginald. She is survived by: her brothers, Kenneth (Joan) and David; her children, Brian Hunter (Beverley), Linda Vanderkam (late Alex) and Kent Hunter (Sharon); her grandchildren, Shannon (Andrew), Tracy (Lorne), Bradley (Julianne), Heather (Graham), Jessie and Andrew; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel Caribe, Angus, Abby, Charlie, Mitchell, Sofia, Shay, Cameron and Bryce.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Allison Funeral Home (103 Mill St N, Port Hope, ON L1A2T3). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wesleyville Cemetery (2082 Lakeshore Rd, Port Hope, ON L1A3V7).

Donations may be made by cheque in Ruby's honour to Wesleyville Cemetery or charity of choice.
