He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Fraser; and his sisters, Isabel McKenna (Owen), Marjorie Tetz (Jim) and Barbara McKenna (Michael). He is survived by: his children, Stephen Fraser, Paula Whitney (late Paul Whitney) and Donald Fraser (Krista); his grandchildren, Heather Fraser (Sean), Ian Fraser (Lindsay), Brendan Whitney (Sabrina), Jenna Whitney, Gregory Whitney (Masha) and Clara Fraser; his great grandchild Hazel; and his siblings, Shirley (George Manos), Heather (Gary Collens) and James Fraser (Linda).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Allison Funeral Home (103 Mill St N, Port Hope, ON L1A2T3). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (155 Walton St, Port Hope, ON L1A1N7). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (130 Toronto Rd, Port Hope, ON L1A4J6). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (155 Walton St, Port Hope, ON L1A1N7).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Green Wood Coalition in Port Hope, a community organization dedicated to fostering inclusion and supporting individuals facing poverty, illness, and other challenges (http://www.greenwoodcoalition.com.).
