He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bowman and Godfrey Bowman; his sister Mary Helen Smith (Warren); and his in-laws, Jean and Royal Hall.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Joshua (Kim), Brent (Kirsti) and Graydon (Aemelia); and his grandchildren, William, Audrey, Christopher, Hart and Flora.
