It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Muriel Cornelius (Port Hope, Ontario), who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ross Cornelius. She is survived by: her children, Annette Cornelius, McNeil (John) and Neil (Tammy Markland); her grandchildren, Austin, Emma Cornelius, Kaila and Nik Markland; her sister Marie Fraser (Jack); and her nieces, Rosemarie and Michelle (Rob). She is also survived by her many cousins and beloved friends.
Due to the COVID gathering restrictions a private family funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a. m. However, those wishing to watch virtually may do so.
Memorial donations to Durham Christian Homes Inc. – Strathaven Palliative Care Committee or to The Strathaven Resident Council Committee would be appreciated and cheques can be made payable to either may be forwarded to the funeral home.
