Lois Hueston Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Hueston of Port Hope, Ontario, born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wilson and Evelyn Peacock; her sister Molly Herman (late John); her husband Frank Harris Hueston; and her cousins, Robert McDonald and Richard "Dick" Ghiselin (late Ann).

She is survived by: her children, Sandra, Jim (Michelle) and Scott (Jennifer Tanaka); her grandchildren, Olivia, Naomi, Alec and Anderson (AJ); her cousins, Lynda Zittier, Shaun Kernaghan (Karen Mikula), Kelly Kernaghan and Jay Wilson (Alison Walton); her brother-in-law Wray Tighe; and her friends, Liz, Shirley, Ruth, Mary, Judy and Elaine.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Anglican Church (33 Pine St N, Port Hope, ON L1A3G5). A reception was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Parish Hall (33 Pine St N, Port Hope, ON L1A3G5). An entombment was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Port Hope Union Cemetery (114 Toronto Rd, Port Hope, ON L1A3S5).
