He was predeceased by: his former wife Colette; and his siblings, Aline (Bob Meikle), Fernand, Victor, Ivan, Roland and Albert.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Terry) and John (Christine); his grandchildren, Erika, Hayley, Noah, Port Hope, Debbie Taylor, Rick Trumper, Heather, Kevin Lang, Tony and Liana Rood; his brother Marcel; and his wife Ruth Rood-Rogers (Rood). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
