She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim Nelson; her daughter Lisa (Eric Stormer) of Edmonton; her granddaughters, Hannah and Abigail Stormer; and her sister Aileen Bone.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Allison Funeral Home (103 Mill St N, Port Hope, ON L1A2T3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
