He is survived by: his children, David and Joanne; his grandson Tyler; his parents, Henry Shirk and Ethel Shirk; and his brothers, Doug Shirk (Goldie), Jim Shirk (Willie), Wayne Johnson (Pat) and Don Ellis (Rose).
