He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy Wood (Banister); his parents, James Wood and Jean Wood; his siblings, James Wood (Patricia) and Marguerite Jennings (Wood); and his parents-in-law, Weston and Bernice Banister.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wood; his children, Michael, Gregory (Shannon Draper) and Andrea; and his brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Jennings. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
