He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jill Trotter; his children, Richard (Donna), Brenda (Murray) and Michael (Bernadette); his stepchild Adrian (Arlene); his grandchildren, Michael, Nick, Ashley, Matt, Austin, Reagan, Emma, Chloe, Laticia and Maddison; and his siblings, David Wm (Elaine), Jean (Wayne Carr) and Jim Trotter (Iris).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Allison Funeral Home (103 Mill St N, Port Hope, ON L1A2T3). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Port Hope Lions Recreation Centre (29a Thomas St, Port Hope, ON L1A3V9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (ICU), Peterborough Regional Health Centre PRHC Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
