She was predeceased by: her cousin Mary Sheppard. She is survived by: her husband Robert Smart; her children, David Smart (Trish), Elizabeth Smart (Dave) and Victoria Smart Mercer (Ted); her caregiver Vera; and her siblings, Elaine Carlyle (Roy), Donalda Sinclair, Warren Sinclair (Colleen), Caroll McRorie (Grant) and Beteena Sinclair.
