She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jack Smith, Stanley Smith, Dorothy Barber, Joan Harding, Betty Collings and Helen Smith; and her sibling-in-law Utti (late Franz Heller).

She is survived by: her spouse Günter; her sons, Karl (Jane Kieley) and Ivan (Mariana Garufi); her grandchildren, Kayleigh, Evan (Bree), Connor (Maddy), Kyle, Erika and Rebecca; her siblings, Dave Smith and Louise (Harold Fitzgerald); and her siblings-in-law, Alfred Häferer (late Eileen), Ernst Häferer (Catherine), Ingrid (Volker Becherer) and Shirley (late John Ollier). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
