She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Bernie; her children, Kim Robertson (Russell Stauffer) and Scott Ashton; her grandchildren, Destiny Field (Devin Young-Coutts), Nikolas Robertson, Alexandrea, Jessica and Samantha Ashton; and her siblings, Margaret Hyde and Diane McKee.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
