He was predeceased by: his spouse Mima Marion McGillivray; and his siblings, Archie, Arthur and Margaret. He is survived by: his children, Joyce McKay (Ron), Linda Fernhout (Brian) and Rona Toth (late Steve); his grandchildren, Lisa, Christoper, Lindsay, Bradley, Wesley and Cameron; and his great grandchild Isla.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
