He is survived by: his siblings, Carole Eaton of Wasaga Beach and Ken Van Wormer of Chilliwack; his friends, Vic and Marilyn Day of Port Elgin; and his children, Keith Day, Karen Dunn and Glen Day.
He had been stoically battling Parkinson's and heart diseases for several years with the Parkinson's symptoms becoming more acute in the last few weeks of his life.
