He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen; and his siblings, Paul Stewart and Dorothy Broderick. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Christine (Rob Kozak) and David (Jackie); his grandchildren, Bradley (Brooke) and Allison; his great grandchild Landon; his brother Ron Stewart (Sheila); and his sister-in-law Diane (Richard Lambert).

Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
