He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Meldrum and Rose Meldrum (Watson). He is survived by: his wife Sharron; his children, Jenn Horndl (Matt) and Jackie Dwyer (Stephen); his grandchildren, Pheebie, Cooper, Sydney and Gertie; his siblings, David Meldrum (Lynda) of Stratford and Janet Cunningham (Stephen) of Kincardine; and his cousin James Meldrum (Doris) of Kincardine.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeshore Recreation Lounge (1177 Goderich St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C3).
