He was predeceased by: his former wife June McCarrel; and his parents, John McCarrel and Martha McCarrel. He is survived by: his wife Martha Kuntz; his children, Nancy McCarrel (Alan Jondreau), David McCarrel and Douglas McCarrel (Heather); his grandchildren, Nick, Katie, Kyle, Jacob, Sarah and Raquel; and also, Donald (Sandy), Kenneth (Hope), Ronald Kuntz, Linda Minke (late Steve Minke) and Tina Legge (Donald).
