He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his daughter Barbara (Ron Irwin); his parents, Maurice and Hannah; and his brothers, Murray, Sylvester, Wesley, Harvey and Calvin.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne, Jim (Grace) and Brenda; and his brother Maurice. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
