He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda; his grandson Shaun Breckon; and his son-in-law Curt Breckon. He is survived by: his children, Karin Fryday (Dennis Curley), Doris Breckon, Laurie Cross (David), Daniel (Patti) and Shona Pentland (Dave); his grandchildren, Josh, Brock, Lia, Michael, Natalie and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Alexa and Tucker.

Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, Habitat for Humanity Restore or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
