He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann; and his brothers, Glen and Doug. He is survived by: his children, Steven (Lynn), Linda (Darnell Myers), Lenore (Jeff Sherman), Scott (Tanya) and Greg (Katherine Mullin); his grandchildren, Angela (Matt), Shannon (Troy), Danielle, Christopher (Brittany), Blake, Cory (Larissa), Kelsie (Ryan), Trevor (Alida), Brad (Becca), Coleton and Elisa Garett (Leah); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Alison, Chyenne, Brooklyn, Wes, Riley, Madilynn, Spencer, Nora and Nova; his brother Murray Thede (Joyce); and his siblings-in-law, Carman Fullerton (Barbara), Donelda Thede and Marilyn Thede.
Memorial donations to the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation, Port Elgin United Church, or the Port Elgin Royal Canadian Legion Br. 340 would be appreciated by the family.
