With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Edward William Melcher of Port Elgin, Ontario, who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Melcher and Geraldine Melcher. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie; his sons, Edward (Quinn) and Micheal (Sarah); his grandchild Grayson; his sister Carla; and his nieces and nephews, Kerrie and Karen.
He found peace, joy and purpose in supporting the church and being part of the congregation, especially during COVID when he helped with online Sunday services.
