He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce (Cole); his daughter Gillian Rose (Byrne); and his daughter-in-law Alice Telka. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Marsden of Port Elgin; his sister Helen Wielhorski of Oakville, Ontario; his son Robert (Port Elgin); his grandson Michael (Salt Spring Island); his sons, Stephen (Port Elgin) and Philip (Susan Gerofsky); his grandchildren, Adriana and Nicholas (Vancouver); his son-in-law Dan Rose; and his granddaughters, Kelly Greenspoon (Rose) and Christy Rose Licata (Newmarket). He is also survived by his great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
