She was predeceased by: her spouse John Stier; her son Jimmy; her brother George Steiger; and her parents, George Steiger and Elizabeth Steiger.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Lawrie and Dianne Lawrie (Barry); her grandchildren, Ben Stier, Toby Stier, Brita Sherren (John) and Eric Lawrie (Marina); her great grandchild Ashton James Lawrie; her siblings, John Steiger and Helen Bacskai (Jim); and her sibling-in-law George Stier (Irene).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Port Elgin United Church or the Port Elgin United Church "Hug a Bear" program would be appreciated by the family.
