It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Knight (Port Elgin, Ontario), who passed away on September 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley; her daughter Sandra Taylor; and her brother Milton Collins. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth (Eliza) and Peter (Alisa); her grandchildren, Jamie, Jill, Matthew (Laura), Amanda, Rory, Steven, Elizabeth and Alexandra; her great grandchildren, Emma, Henry and Theodore; and her siblings, Kathleen McNabb and Ken Collins (Lucille).

Memorial donations to the Port Elgin United Church or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.

“This is Lance Robinson. I'm the son of Janice Robinson (nee Hall), daughter of Dorothy Hall (nee Knight), so Doris was my great aunt. I met Doris went I was much younger, and recently, since I moved back to Canada, (not very far from her in Stratford, Ontario), I had spoken to her on the phone a few times. I was always impressed at how sharp her mind was. I had plans to go out and visit her, but sadly the COVID situation postponed that. My deepest condolences.”
