With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Currie-Ruetz (Port Elgin, Ontario), who passed away on September 29, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Stuart, Eoin, Angus, Eva, Jean and Marguerite; and her siblings-in-law, Grant Begg and Helen.

She is survived by: her spouse Harry Ruetz; her children, Lee, James (Grace), Kathy (Jamie) and Karen; her significant other George Faulkner; her son Brian (Susan); her stepchild Debbie; her friends, Biernie and Trish; her stepgrandchildren, Chris (Alesha), Joleen (Jessie), Melissa (Simon), Rebecca, Amy and Josh; her sibling Bruce MacPherson (Grace); and her siblings-in-law, Grace MacPherson, Norman Campbell and Mervin Catto.

Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Southampton Care Centre Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
